WHAT WE DO
Better Work engages with the garment industry at the factory, national and international levels. We engage with factories through assessment, advisory and training visits, and we use our data and evidence to inform national and international policy discussions.

Technical Officer- Data Analytics and M&E

Bangkok, Thailand

Shumin Liu joined the Better Work Global Team as Technical Officer- Data Analytics and M&E in July 2023. Stationed in Bangkok, her work focuses on data analysis and M&E for Better Work’s programming and operations. Prior to her current role, she worked at the UNDP Bangkok Regional Hub and UNDP Maldives, supporting the development of a data-driven policy research agenda for evidence-based decision-making in the public sector and exploring innovative approaches to addressing complex development challenges. She holds a Master of Science degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
